CRISPY NUTS

Crispy Nuts were a three piece band from Tokyo, comprising Momoko on vocals/guitar, Hiroshi on bass and occasional vocals, and Charlie on drums.

The Crispy Nuts split in 2001, shortly after releasing their LP "I Love Crispy Nuts" - and reformed in 2003.

The above pic was taken outside AK47 in Düsseldorf, one of the crazier gigs of their 1999 European tour! Below is a pic of their second EP "Will", from 1998.

Before this, they released an EP on the Cowpat Records label around the time of a small (2-gig) UK tour. They have since released a split single with Electric Frankenstein, and one LP containing all songs from their singles plus a whole load of new stuff.

Most of their releases are sold out! The "Will" EP is now sold out, but occasionally some copies get returned from shops and distros. For info on availability of "Will" and other Crispy Nuts releases, check out Wrench Records Mailorder.

Wrench Records have also released records by Rancid Hell Spawn, Loudmouths, Hot Rod Honeys, Sexual Abominations, Henry Fiat's Open Sore, Lil Bunnies, Fifi & The Mach III, Tronics, Mensen, Superhelicopter Ltd, Tokyo Knives, Steve McQueens and Savage Malignant.
